As a well-known skateboard manufacturer, I had established a strong foothold in the industry, after 30 years of supplying the top pros and brands with high quality skateboard decks (from 1976 to 2005) I was forced to close my business due to all the poor quality, mass produced, imported decks being brought in from China.

 

It was hard to leave behind an industry that we, as well as many other brands, had supported and helped create thru years of hard work and “American Innovation”. It is really unfortunate that the typical policy from our government does not protect real American manufacturers which made it impossible to compete with the prices coming from China.

 

I found myself “idle” after 30 years of dedicating my time to my business and my family, my 2 daughters were now young adults with kids of their own, and my business was closed, so after working for other companies for a few years I came to the realization that I am an entrepreneur to the core and started exploring other avenues.

After a few visits to my local smoke shop, I noticed wood pipes were mostly imports and the quality was severely lacking, to put it nicely. I also noticed that 95% of hand pipes being sold were made from breakable glass!

 

I designed these pipes for active days when you’re fishing or doing whatever it is that you love to do (our 3 and 4 bowl models) so you only have to pack your pipe once for the day rather than once an hour, our 1 and 2 bowl models fit nicely in your pocket when biking, hiking, or just running your daily errands. With glass bowls and airtight lids, you get “unbreakable durability” with a fresh glass smoke and the ability to close each bowls lid individually to avoid spills and keep your bowl fresh from hit to hit.
